MODEL AERO CLUBS.
Arrangements for Field Day Made. Ihe Christchurch Model Aero Interclub Committee met recently to make arrangements for a field day on Easter Monday, April 17, to be held in North Hagley Park. It was decided to hold four duration events for the following classes:—Scale monoplanes; scale biplanes; fuselage models (Wakefield Cup class) h.l. and r.o.g. Entries for the scale model events will close at 10.15 a.m. and flying will start at 10.30 a.m. Entries for the fuselage r.o.g. event will close at 11.15 a.m. and flying will start at 11.30 a.m. Entries for the fuselage h.l. event will close after the luncheon adjournment, competitors are advised to bring their lunches to the flying ground. In the scale model events it was decided to award 50 points for appearance and 50 points for duration. Entry is restricted to members of affiliated clubs, there being no entry fee. Demonstrations of seaplane and novelty flying ware arranged for.
