MUNICIPAL CONFERENCE.

Delegates Leave for Rotorua on Monday. Mr J. W. Beanland and the Town Clerk (Mr J. S. Neville) will leave on Monday night for the Municipal Conference at Rotorua. They will be joined at Wellington on Tuesday by the Mayor of Christchurch (Mr D. G. Sullivan, M.P.), who, owing to Parliamentary duties, was unable to return to Christchurch for this week-end. Mr M. E. Lyons, who is a member of the executive of the Municipal Association, will travel with the party and will attend the annual meeting of that association. Mr E. 11. Andrews, who will represent the Christchurch Tramway Board at the meeting of the Municipal Association, will also travel north on Monday night.
