DANCE AT RICCARTON.

The Addington Workshops employees held the opening dance of the season in their social hall, Lower Riccarton, last night. The hall was decorated with flags. The committee members. responsible for the arrangements were:—Messrs J. Dickson (chairman), I. Orchard, S. Atkinson, H. Heyward, D. Robertson and S. Stringleman (honorary secretary). Mr J. S. Cummings was M.C, and Cowlin’s Orchestra supplied the music. A Monte Carlo onestep was won by Mr and Mrs O. Gunther. Those present included: Mesdames J Dickson. C Scott, J. Olin. jun., J. Mahar!
