The concluding stages of the North Island and Wairarapa Association's tennis championships have been reached and matches will be finished to-day. Results:— Men’s Doubles. Semi-final. Hawkesworth and G. Pearce (Otago) beat A'Court and Barrer (Canterbury), 6-1, 6-1. Men's Slagles. Fourth Round. Dowry (Hawke's Bay) beat Barrer (Canterbury), 6-3, 2-6, 7-5. Malfroy heat Ferkins (Wellington), 6-3, 6-2. Semi Final. Court (Hawke’s Bay) beat Coombe (Manawatu). 6-4, 5-7, 6-2. The game between Court and Coombe resolved itself into a hard baseline strugle. Court had the measure of his opponent in the third set. X*4les’ Singles. Miss Howell (Hawke's Bay) defeated Miss Bell (Wellington). 6-3, 6-3. Miss Whyte (Wellington) beat Miss M. Rutherford (Manawatu). 6-3, 3-6, 7-5.
