ACCIDENTALLY SHOT.

Youth’s Death While on Expedition. Per Press Association. INVERCARGILL. January 15. \Vhile on a fishing and shooting expedition at Northope (near Winton) on Saturday afternoon, William Walker, aged seventeen years, of Invercargill, was, it is presumed, accidentally fatally shot, although no member of the party of four actually saw the fatal shot fired. It appears that Walker discharged his own gun by accident, death being almost instantaneous. The bullet entered the right -* side above the hip.
