WEDDINGS.

Rangiora Marriage is Celebrated. INCH—ROSS. At John Knox Presbyterian Church, Rangiora, the wedding was recently celebrated of Ruby Charlotte, second daughter of Mr and Mrs C. Ross, Hawarden, to George Hance, youngest son of Mr and Mrs W. J. Inch, “ The Terraces,” l'e Pirita, Rakaia. The Rev J. Anderson, of Waikari, performed the ceremony, and Mr Gibbs Jordan was organist. The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore an ivory georgette frock made with long tight-fitting bodice and fully flared skirt. Her veil, worn well off the face, fell from a coronet of orange blossom, and # she carried a sheaf of regal lilies and maidenhair fern. Miss Dorothy Ross, who attended her sister as bridesmaid, wore a frock of pale green georgette made with tight-fitting bodice and skirt falling in three flares to the ankles. She carried a Victorian posy of Iceland poppies and maidenhair fern. Mr William Fahey acted as best man. A reception was held later at the N. A. and P. A. Hall, Rangiora, where Mrs Ross and Mrs Inch received the guests. The ‘former was wearing a frock of navy Nevada relieved with lemon, with hat to match, and carried a posy of lemon Iceland poppies. The bridegroom’s mother wore a frock of bottle-green celanese, with brown hat and tailored coat. Her posy was of dark red carnations. When Mr and Mrs G. H. Inch left by car, the latter was wearing a frock of red floral cresta crepe, with hat and coat to match. DE LA HUNT—BRADSHAW. The marriage was celebrated recently at St Mark’s Church, Opawa, of Nellie Evelyn Mary, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs James T. Bradshaw, Charles Street, Linwood, to Vincent Joseph, only son of Mr and Mrs William de la Hunt, Sullivan Avenue, Opawa. Canon H. Williams performed the ceremony and Mr Baker was the organist. The church was decorated with lilies and greenery. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a pretty frock of pink floral satin made with ankle-length skirt and moulded bodice, finished with a flat bow on the shoulder. Her embroidered pink silk veil w’as held in place with a spray of orange blossom buds, and her bouquet was of pink and white lilies and maidenhair fern. There w r ere three bridesmaids in attendance —Miss Nancy Miller (chief) and Misses Connie Fuller and Lona Vickery (cousins of the bride). They were frocked alike in cornflower blue georgette, made with. tight-fitting bodice and flared skirt falling to the ankles. Short coatees of the same shade, made with tight-fitting sleeves to the elbows, then flaring into wide cuffs over the wrist, had touches of pink georgette, and the waistline was finished with a brilliant buckle. They wore hats of blue silk straw, uplifted at the side with a spray of pink flowers, and a flat bow was placed across the back. Each maid carried a bouquet of cornflower and pink sweet peas. Mr Tom Bradshaw (brother of the bride) was best man, and Messrs Gordon LeLievre (cousin of the bridegroom) and Kenneth Hadler were groomsmen. As the bride was leaving the church she was presented with two lucky horseshoes by Myrtle Allen and Shirley Vickery. The reception was held at Dixieland, where the guests were received by the bride’s mother, who wore a becoming frock of blue silk marocain relieved with pink frilling in the front. Her blue silk straw hat was turned up at the side with a pink spray and she carried a bouquet of pink flowers. When Mr and Mrs de la Hunt left later for the' North Island the bride was wearing a navy blue costume, a light blue straw hat and a musquash coat. «.
