PIGEON FLYING

The Christchurch Premier Pigeon Club conducted a club championship race from Invercargill recently. Twelve birds, representing twelve owners, were liberated. Adverse weather and head winds were encountered by the birds and four failed to get through on the day of liberation when the race closed. The winning bird, owned by Mr P.
