Committee Will Bring it Within Constitution. United Press Asm, —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received January 12, 11.30 a.m.) WASHINGTON, January 11. The Senate Judiciary Sub-committee to-day decided to redraft the House 3.2 per cent Beer Bill, which is at present unconstitutional, in a way which Senator Blaine (chairman of the committee) said would bring it writhin the Constitution without any doubt whatever. A specific plan was not announced, but several proposals w ei& advanced, including the fixing of penalties for the manufacturing of beer above a certain percentage without attempting to define an intoxicant.
