Vessel Recently Built at Cost of £2OOO. PICNIC PARTY WAS ASHORE. per Press Association. BLENHEIM, December 22. The large 80-passenger piotor-launch Tinopai, recently built in Auckland for Mr M. Steed, of Picton. was destroyed by fire while anchored at Torea last night, while a party was ashore enjoying a moonlight picnic. There was no insurance on the launch, which cost £2OOO. _______
