Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, December 21. Cabled advice has been received by the local attorney of the New Zealand and River Plate Land Mortgage Company, Ltd., that the net profit for the year, ended October 31, 1932, was £102,625, including £43,983 brought into the accounts. At the annual meeting, to be held in London on January 17, the directors will recommend that a final dividend of 3J per cent be declared, making a total of 7 per cent for the year (less income tax at 5s in the £) absorbing £49,000, and that £SOOO should be carried to the reserve, leaving £48,625 to be carried forwanl BULOLO GOLD DREDGING, LTD. Mr Fred G. Dunn, attorney for Clutha Development, Ltd., advises the receipt of the following production figures of the Bulolo dredges for the four weeks ended December s:

golcovda mists. The Golconda report is as follows: During the week the following work has been carried out. South end: Advanced 9ft, total 79ft. We passed through a. small break and are now in very good country. North end: The crosscut was advanced 13ft, total 90ft. Wo are still in quartz, and a few colours of gold have been seen. The reef formation is composed of ribs of quartz and stringers. The ribs of quarts vary from 3ft to lin in width, interlaced with quartz stringers and country rock. The quartz is heavily mineralised with Iron pyrites, and a fair amount of zinc blend. The stockwork of quartz is about 25ft in width with no true hanging wall showing. We had a fair flow of water from one firing out. but it has now eased ofT. e will continue the crosscut until we reach the true wall.

RECENT WEST COAST DISCOVERT. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN. December 21. The recently reported discovery of a rich gold prospect in an old creek bed on the West Coast has been investigated by Mr R. T. Stewart, mining engineer of Dunedin, who reports that, although 17oz were secured in a very small area, no further prospects of value were obtained. The locality is midway between Reefton and Murchison.
