Position of Freezing Dispute. "The fight is still on, and there will be no negotiations until after the holidays,” said Mr H. C. Revell, secretary of the Canterbury Freezing Works’ and Related Trades’ Union this morning in referring to the freezing works dispute, which has now dragged on for several weeks. Mr Revell returned this morning from Wellington, where he attended a meeting of the Central Committee of the New Zealand Freezing Works Federation. He added that the reports received by the committee were quite satisfactory, and reflected the firmness of slaughtermen to resist the terms of the employers.
