Morning Tea for Dame Sybil Thorndike. The Mayor (Mr D. G. Sullivan, M.P.) will entertain Dame Sybil Thorndike and her husband, Mr Lewis Casson, at morning tea in the social room at the City Cornell Chambers on Thursday, January 12 at 11 a.m. The function will be attended by members of Parliament and City Councillors, and their wives as well as a number of citizens with literary and theatrical interests.
