Sumner Life Saving Club. Mr S. K. Bassett presided over a meeting of the executive on Thursday evening. A number of new members were elected. The meeting considered a suggestion made by the Mayor (Mr W. H. Nicholson) that sun bathing balconies he erected on the front of the pavilion. The committee decided that the proposal was beyond the financial resources of the club.' It was decided to invite the St Clair Club. Dunedin, to pay a return visit to Sumner during the season.
