It was reported at the meeting of the Heathcote County Council last M night that the Mount Pleasant riding M had spent up to date £11,064 on unemployment relief work. Since April 1 this year, £3105 had been spent. “No K one can accuse me of taking no inter- ™ est in the unemployed,” said Mr A. G. s< Williams, who represents the riding on M the council.
