STOLEN CAR BURNT.

Two Thefts During the Week-end. Two motor-car thefts were reported t > the city police during the week-end. One car, belonging to Air R. M. Quinn, of Timaru, was found partly destroyed by fire in Yaldhurst Road, shortly before the report came that it had been 9 stolen. The other theft was from outside the Theosophist Hall in Cambridge Terrace, where Mr E. T. Lawn. Stoneyhurst Street, St Albans, left his car between 7 p.m. and 8.30 p.m. on Saturday. The car was an Austin Seven, registered number Xls-450, and was painted a maroon colour. It had a Kiwi mascot on the radiator.
