Y.W.C.A. FINANCE.

At the meeting of the Finance Committee of the Young Women’s Christian Association it was reported that the games room was being renovated and would shortly be available again for use. Mrs W. Machin outlined the arrangements made for the concert in the Radiant Hall on July 7, when the programme would be contributed by the pupils of Mine Josephine Ottlee. Miss Irene Morris and Mr Harold Beck. A special vote of thanks was passed to the “Christchurch Times” for help given to the Y.W.C.A. The occupational and training classes for young unemployed girls are being well attended and senior girls are appreciative of the practice classes- in shorthand.
