Ruggles-Brise introduced a Bill providing that all imported foodstuffs be marked, Avhether Empire or foreign, with the name of the country from which they originated. He said: “ Britain for a long time has taken her food on trust and it is time that we knew r Avhat Ave were buying and Avhence it came?” The Bill was read a first time. «
