GRANARY DESTROYED.

Per Press Association. ASHBURTON, May 18. A granary and its contents, the property of A. Read, Eiffelton, were destroyed by fire this morning. The origin of the fire is unknown. • The building is insured for £2OO, and the machinery, including a motor-car, which was partly burned, for £545. Both insurances are in Lloyd’s office. A threshing mill, the property of Messrs Campbell and Kelleher, was also destroyed. The insurances are unknown.
