The Mayor( Mr D. G. Sullivan, M.P.,) expressed the hope this morning that there would be a large attendance at the ladies’ meeing to be held in the City Council Chambers at 3 o’clock to-morrow, for the purpose of considering ways and means of providing clothing for the unemployed during the winter months. Mr Sullivan said that the need for clothing was becoming a pressing one, and he hoped that this effort to provide it would be well supported.
