AUCKLAND BUSINESS. (Special to the “ Star.”) AUCKLAND, May 18. At the Auckland Stock Exchange this morning- there were buyers of Commercials at 13s 9d, with sellers at 14s. Holders of New South Wales raised their reserves to £26 ss, but there were no buyers. New Zealand Insurances were firm, with buyers still in at 35s 3d. Loan and Mercantile scrip were again asked for at £3O, bringing a seller at £4O. Colonial Sugars were in request at £3B, hut the holders stood out for £4O. Kempthorne Prosser buyers offered 45s 9d.
