HOSPITAL APPOINTMENT
Auckland Board Receives 38 Applications. (Special to the. “Star.”) AUCKLAND, May 18. Concerning the appointment of a medical superintendent in succession to Dr C. E. Maquire, a special committee of the Hospital Board reduced thirty-eight applications to twelve. The board makes its choice at a special meeting next Wednesday. The applicants selected for further consideration are:—Drs A. C. B. Biggs (Napier), J. W. Craven (Birkenhead), H. L. Gould (Auckland), A. D. Nelson (Wanganui), G. H. Robertson (Wanganui), J. F. Cramp (Sydney), E. L. D. Parry (New South Wales), J. G. Sleeman (Adelaide), S. Arnott (England), R. F. Grace (London), J. F. O’Gradv (Manchester), E. A. Seagar (Barbados).
