GREYMOUTH, April 1. Playing at Cobden yesterday, Cobden had an easy win over Alarist in a match for the Stenhouse Cup. Alarist. batting first, were all out for the small total of 8 runs. L. Rowe took five wickets for 2 runs and D. Guy five wickets for 6 runs. Cobden replied with 114 (F. Groufsky 20 not out -T. Aloss 17. L. Rowe, retired, 14. L. Eatwell. retired, 12). Rose took five wickets for 34 and Wingham one for 4. The Cobden team has now won all its matches in the first round.
