Pathan Strike-Breakers Make Attack. TROUBLE IN DOCK AREA. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received March 31, noon.) CALCUTTA, March 30. Argyle Road, in the Bombay dock area, was the scene of a commotion when 200 Pathans attacked a meeting
of dock strikers and began assaulting people indiscriminately. The Pathans have been working on the docks since the strike began. They used bottles and other missiles, and a number of strikers and passers-by were injured.
The police disarmed the Pathans and restored order. An armed guard is now in the area.
