Considered by Coalition Party Caucus. “MAJORITY SUPPORT IT.” (Special to the ” Star.”) WELLINGTON, March 15. A joint caucus of the Coalition Party 'vas held this morning to discuss legislation in general and the Arbitration Act Amendment in particular. Interviewed after the meeting, Mr Forbes stated that consideration had not. been gi'-en to the report of the National Expenditure Commission, most of the time being taken up Avith a general discussion of the Arbitration Act Amendment concerning the provisions of AA'hich further explanations Avere given. Asked whether the differences of opinion on that issue had been composed. Mr Forbes smilingly denied that any differences existed and stated definitely that the majority of the party had made up their minds and were in full accord Avith the proposals the Government had placed before the House.
