ment loan. The sum of £201,392 had also been spent from the roading loan of £220.000. The Works Committee reported that the allocation from the Labour Department for the relief of unemployment under the No. 5 scheme for the past taa’o weeks was £I2OO and £I3OO respectively. These sums had been sufficient to keep all men employed.
