Annual Meeting of Local Association. The annual meeting of the Canterbury division of the Music Teachers’ Association of New Zealand was 'held on Saturday evening. Mr Sidney Williamson presided over an attendance of fourteen members. The financial report. which was adopted, showed a credit balance on the year’s working of £6 14s 9d. The chairman, in his annual report, stated that during the year eleven resignations had been received and four new members elected. One life member, Mr L. C. Zimmerman, had been elected. The motion was carried. and the amendment lapsed for want of a seconder. Election of Officers. The following officers were elected; — President, Mr Cliffe Stanford; vicepresident, Madame Gower Burns; council members. Misses Betty Hannam and H. A. Sirrell.
