LADIES’ GOLF CLUB MEETS.
The Diamond Harbour Ladies' Golf Club held its annual meeting in the club’s pavilion on Saturday, when the president (Mrs Paine) presided over a large attendance of members. The report of the past season’s activities was considered most satisfactory.
The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mrs F. E. Sutton; vice-presidents, Mesdames Colin Cook, W. Cleary and T. B. Bowring; secretary, Mrs W. Paine; captain. Miss M. Cook; deputy-captain, Mrs T. Archer; committee, Mesdames E. Cooper, E. Curtis, E. Rudkin, L. Blewett, Misses M. WhiteParsons and T. Cleary.
Arrangements were made for opening day, March 19, and also for a card evening in the pavilion on Easter Saturday.
