The assassin was immediately arrested. The Mitsui building* was recently mobbed by an indignant crowd, who were resentful of the firm’s dollar speculations. since when the agitation against unpatriotic dollar buying has continually increased. Baron Dan was well known abroad, having headed several economic missions.
