WEST OF ENGLAND SOCIETY.
The annual meeting of the Canterbury West of England Society was held on Wednesday. The retiring president, Mr A. Skinner, expressed satisfaction with the last year’s work, and thanked the officers and member for the interest maintained throughout the year. Mr p. E. L. Broad was unanimously elected president for the ensuing vear; vice-presidents, Mr E. J. Howard, M.P., Messrs H. G. Andrews, W. Deans, sen., A. Urry, W. T. Conibear, A. K. Easterbrook, A. Skinner, W. Howard, J. Norton, H. D. Acland, W. Oliver, Braisher, W. Thomas and Dr Whetter; honorary secretary, Mrs D. Fox; treasurer, Mr A. K. Easterbrook; committee, Mesdames Deans, Oliver, Faro, Emerson, Skinner, Miss E. Skinner, Messrs W. Oliver, A. Skinner, W. Deans, sen., Emerson, A. Bryant, W. T. Conibear; trustees, Messrs H. G.
