A REMAND GRANTED.

Steeplejack Alleged to have been Intoxicated. A steeplejack, Conway Braddell, aged 45 years, residing in Hereford Street, was charged in the Magistrate’s Court this morning that on December 21 he was in a state of intoxication while in charge of a motor-car, and that he negligently drove a car in Lichfield Street. Senior-Sergeant Fox said that since the charges were laid the police had learnt that a youth aged fifteen years was alleged to have been knocked down by the accused and they wished to make further inquiries. Braddell was remanded to appear on January 14. Bail was allowed in the sum of £25 and one surety of £25.
