Due at Auckland on December 27 and at Sydney on December 31. MAKURA leaves San Francisco for Wellington and Sydney on December 23. NIAGARA, from Sydney, is due at Suva to-day, Honolulu on December 25, and Vancouver on January 1. MONOWAI, which left Wellington on Tuesday, is due at Sydney to-morrow. SONOMA, from Sydney, is due at San Francisco on December 30.

VENTURA is due at Auckland tomorrow from San Francisco. Due at Sydney on December 22. SIERRA is expected to leave San Francisco to-day. Due at Auckland on January S and at Sydney on January COASTAL SHIPPING. STORM arrived at Lyttelton this morning from Timaru to load for Wellington and Wanganui. GALE is expected here on Tuesday from the south to load for Wellington, Picton and Wanganui. FOXTON will load at Lyttelton on Monday for Foxton. * TAUPATA will now load at Lyttelton on Wednesday next for Nelson, Mapua and Motueka. PORT WAIKATO is expected here tomorrow from Timaru to load for Wel-lington.-Auckland. Tauranga and Whangarei. HOLMDALE, from southern ports, Is expected here on Wednesday to load for Wellington, Picton and Wanganui. WAIPAHI is due here to-morrow from Gisborne with wool. The vessel is expected to proceed to Dunedin and Timaru to-morrow evening, and returns here on Wednesday to load for Wellington, Napier and Gisborne. TASMAN AND PACIFIC. CANADIAN CHALLENGER arrived at Auckland from Montreal last evening. The vessel will discharge at Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is expected here about December 25. FAXEN arrived at Auckland yesterday from Port Kerabla. KARTIGI, from Melbourne, arrived at Auckland yesterday. The vessel left last evening for New Plymouth. WAIKOUAITI is due at Lyttelton on December 21 from Sydney via Bluff and Dunedin. OVERSEAS VESSELS. KARAMEA is due at Lyttelton about January 21 from London via Port Chalmers. The vessel should reach Port Chalmers on January 18. NORFOLK, which left Falmouth on December 10, is due in New Zealand waters on January 18. The vessel is coming out in ballast. ROTORUA was expected at Lyttelton this morning, but was delayed owing to fog. HERTFORD is due at Lyttelton on December 28 from Falmouth to commence loading. The vessel’s other ports of loading are Bluff, Gisborne, Auckland and Wellington. She Is scheduled to leave Wellington on January 21. NORTHUMBERLAND is expected to sail from Napier to-morrow for London and West of England ports via PAKEHA will load at Bluff on Monday next. The vessel will also load at Lyttelton, Wanganui, Auckland and Wellington. She will leave Wellington for Southampton and London January 11. SYDNEY MARU. Sydney Ma.ru, with cargo from Japan, is to leave Melbourne on December 24 for Wellington, where she is due on December 27. She leaves on the following day for Auckland, and sails from there on January 2 for Japan, via Australia. PERSONAL. Captain F. J. Ogilvie is in command of the Shaw, Savill steamer Raranga, which is due at Lyttelton next week, and his officers are: Chief, Mr G. M. Robertson; second, Mr J. J. Finn; third, Mr A.
