End of R-liet Work.

To the Editor. Dear Sir, —We were told at the Labour Bureau this morning (Saturday) that when the bach of men who are now working at the Selwyn C.C. finish on Wednesday no more men will be taken on until the middle of January. We who have been to the Selwyn before were expecting to get another nine days before Christmas. What I should like to know is this: If the above is correct, why can’t the money that is usually allotted to the Selwyn C.C. be vised in providing us (who are due to go out again) with our nine days* work for December.—l am, etc., THREE DAY.
