Some Suggestions.
Dear Sir,—The vphill fight of the relief depots here is pathetic reading, and I would suggest that all the members of those committees which have worked for them so assiduously should be asked to give half a day (the usual week-end holiday) to the helping of distress. Every home should be visited and asked to give something, whether money, food, clothing or anything that is useful or saleable. No matter how poor a person may be there is always something they have which is useless to them, but which would be appreciated by someone.—l am, etc., HUMANITY.
