Sympathy for Crooks.
To the Editor.
Dear Sir, —“ It is hard to understand why business firms are taken down so easily,'* we are told. Also, “ If these people get their monev back it is almost more than the/ deserve." Rather clever all this, don’t you think, Mr Editor? Jiggs and Mickey Mouse are not in it. It is easy for any person with intelligence to understand why some business firms are taken down by crooks, but it is more difficult to understand why the crooks receive so much consideration and practical sympathy from some of our so-called Courts of Justice. —I am, etc., I WONDER.
