SUMNER PERSONALS.
Mrs W. 11. Brown, Colenso Street, Sumner, left yesterday for Otira, where she will spend a short holiday with her son, Mr C. Brown. Mr and Mrs Graves, Head Street, returned yesterday from a holiday spent in Auckland. The Rev J. M. and Mrs Simpson left on Wednesday morning for their new home in Dunedin. Mr and Mrs A. Bayliff, who spent a short holiday with Mr and Mrs Fountain Barber, h#ve returned to their home in Napier. . Mrs F. W. Partridge, Hastings, Hawke’s Bay, has been visiting friends in Sumner, and is now staying with her father, Mr Johnson, of Yaldhurst. His many Sumner friends will regret 'to learn that Mr J. M. B. Crawford, late director of the School for the Deaf, is seriously indisposed. Mrs E. A. Johnson, Euston Street, who has been confined to her room during the past week, is now much improved in health.
