Molested Woman who was Alone in House. (Special to the “ Star.”) TIMARU, October 1. “ The accused’s action indicates that he was prepared to assault a reputable and respectable woman who was alone in her own home,” said Mr C. R. OrrWalker, S.M., in the Timaru Magistrate’s Court to-day, in sentencing Charles Alfred Denham, aged forty-two, to one month’s gaol for being unlawfully on premises. Denham was remanded from yesterday. * The police said today that 1 a taxidriver had admitted taking Denham to » the house of Mr Joseph Todd, Brunswick Street, by mistake, instead of to his uncle's house at Park Lane. No explanation was forthcoming from accused, however, as to why he molested Mrs Todd.
