j Britain will not Recognise U.S. Decrees. ROMANCES SHATTERED. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received August 20, 8.50 a.m.) LONDON, August 19. Reno divorces are no good in London. Somerset House yesterday stopped three marriages in which the parties held Reno divorces. Over twenty such romances have been shattered in the past few weeks. A Somerset House official told a “ Daily Mail ” representative that many Americans come to London in order quietly to re-mary after the publicity of Reno divorce, but United States decrees do not count in London.
