Kara Pasha Beats Limutkin at Blenheim. Per Press Association. BLENHEIM, August 19. A large attendance witnessed the first professional wrestling bout in Blenheim between Limutkin (13st 81b) and Kara Pasha (12st 21b). The first round was even, both showing a variety of holds. In the second round the Turk was thrown three times with a head lock, but Kara evened up in good mat work. In the third round, after some struggling Limutkin applied a crucifix, but Pasha broke it applying a short arm bar. The fourth round opened with fast work, a good many toe holds being applied. After going for seven minutes Pasha clapped on his famous Boston crab, getting a submission fall. Limutkin then announced that his thumb which he had injured at Westport had again been put out and he was unable to continue.
