Mr M’Gill has concluded his address for the Crown in the Mungana case.’ According to the transcript of the official shorthand note, Mr M’Gill spoke at an average speed of 160 words a minute for ten and a half hours, a total of approximately 100,000 words. Mr Macrossan, for Mr M’Cormack, said that the Crown’s case was no case in law. The case was adjourned.
