TEES will loud at Lyttelton to-day for the Chatham Islands. SHIPPING NOTES. WINGATUI is due back from Bluff via Dunedin and Timaru on Thursday to load for Wellington and Auckland. BREEZE will load at Lyttelton on Wednesday for Wellington, Picton and Wanganui. WAIMARINO is due to-morrow from Auckland via Wellington to discharge northern cargo. The vessel should sail r‘or Dunedin and Timaru to-morrow evening. HOLMDALE is now expected on Wednesday from Dunedin via Oamaru and Timaru. She loads for Wellington, Picton and Wanganui. POOLTA is expected on Thursday from the south to load fo-r Napier and Gisborne. KAPONGA arrived at Lyttelton yesterday from Westport via Dunedin and GALE is due here to-morrow from Timaru to load for Wellington, Picton and Wanganui. KUKU arrived here from the north yesterday to load to-day for Wellington. Nelson and Motueka.: She leaves for the north this evening unless delayed by wet weather. PORT WAIKATO is expected here on Wednesday from the south to load for Tauranga, Whangarei, Dargaville and Hokianga. TASMAN AND PACIFIC. WAIHEMO left Wellington on Friday for Nelson, Napier, Lyttelton (August 22), Dunedii), Bluff and Sydney. KALINGO leaves Greymouth to-day for Wellington, and the latter port on August IS for Melbourne. WAINUI leaves Melbourne on Wednesday for Bluff, where she is due on August 24. She will also discharge at Dunedin. Lyttelton and Wellington. Due at Lyttelton about August 27. PARRAKOOLA leaves San Francisco on Saturday next for Los Angeles, and the latter port on August 26 for Auckland and Wellington. Due at Wellington on September 12. CANADIAN CONSTRUCTOR arrived at Lyttelton yesterday from Montreal, via North Island ports. The vessel is expected to leave this evening for Dunejdin and Bluff. MATAKANA is expected at Lyttelton on Wednesday from Port Chalmers to load for London and the West Coast OVERSEAS VESSELS. RANGITATA left Wellington on Saturday for Southampton and London. RANGITANE should leave Wellington to-day for Bluff, where she will commence her Homeward loading. After taking in further cargo at Port Chalmers she will call at Lyttelton about August 23. TAIROA left Wellington yesterday for Wanganui. To sail finally from Wanganui on August 20 for London, .via Panama. PORT FAIRY will leave London on September 16 for Suva. Port Chalmers, Lyttelton. Timaru and New Plymouth. Due at Port Chalmers on October 25. PORT HUNTER will load at Liverpool at the end of the month and leaves the United Kingdom on September 5 for the main New Zealand ports. Due at Auckland on October 12. PORT GISBORNE, en route from London. has reported by wireless that she expects to arrive at Wellington at noon on August 23. TONGARIRO was dispatched from Panama on August 14 for Auckland, where she is expected on September 2. CORINTHIC left London on Friday for New Zealand, via Southampton and NARBADA, from Calcutta and Penang, which left Singapore on Wednesday for Samarang to complete loading for Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin and Bluff, was expected to clear Samarang on Saturday, and is due at Auckland about September 1. LT. COMMANDER AS A. 6. When the New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Rangitata left Wellington on Saturday for Southampton and London, one of her A.B.’s was Lieu-tenant-Commander C. G. Osborne, who served in the Royal Navy from 1898 till 1926. He has had a varied naval career, having risen from seaman to his present rank. As the result of his war experiences, Lieutenant-Commander Osborne suffered a nervous breakdown some time ago, and was advised to take a sea trip. Accordingly he signed on the Orient liner Oronsay for a trip as an A. 8., and is returning to England in the Rangitata in the same capacity. His civil occupation is that of an electrical engineer, and he hopes that when he reaches England Ills health will be sufficiently i-estored to allow him to resume his usual work. OPAWA DELAYED. The motor-ship Opawa was delayed by heavy weather at Wanganui, and arrived at Wellington on Saturday to complete her homeward loading. She is now to clear Wellington to-morrow morning for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, via Panama. PERSONAL. Mr S. C. Maslen has relieved Mr J. F. Oliver as second engineer on the Storm. WIRELESS NOTICES. The following vessels are expected to be within range of the undermentioned wireless stations to-night:— Auckland Brunswick, Canadian Transporter, Golden Coast, Port Fremantle, Southern Cross, Tofua, Ulimaroa, Ventura, Voco, Waipahi.
