Dig over vacant ground. Lift Carrots, Beet, etc. * Prepare ground for Potatoes and Peas. Sow Peas on raised drills. Put seed Potatoes in boxes for sprouting. Plant Potatoes in warm positions. Prepare ground for Onions. Planting can be done. Prune fruit trees. Collect prunings and burn them. Dig around trees, burying all weeds and old leaves. Spray trees with Bordeaux mixture for fungus diseases.
