Aladdin Dispualified by Horse Stewards. NOT RUN ON MERITS. The stewards held an enquiry into the running of Aladdin in the Styx Hurdle Handicap. After hearing the evidence of the owner, the trainer and the rider of the horse, and of Mr Wilson, the stipendiary steward, the stewards resolved:— “ The stewards are satisfied on the evidence of the stipendiary steward, .supported by their own observation, that the horse Aladdin was not run on its merits and therefore disqualify the owner, the jockey, and the horse for six months. The horse is also disqualified for the race, the third money goes to ( the fourth horse, Gallivanter.”
