New Zealand Insurances were easier, with sellers at 38s. buyers stopping at 3d 8 6d. A buyer came forward for Gear Meat at 25s 6d. The latest report from the Moturoa oilfields failed to stimulate the market. The best bid remained at 4s 6d. with sellers at 6s 6d. Grand Junctions were available at 3s 9d. A parcel of inner preference shares (Brewery) was offered at 20s 6d. Government tax-free bonds were available at par and Inscribed at £99 15s. LONDON PRODUCE MAKXITB. The Bank of New Zealand has received the following advice from its London office as at the close of business this week:— Frozen Meat.—The market for wethers is firm and moderate business has been done. There is a moderate demand for ewes and prices are firm. There Is a good demand for lambs and prices are firm. The market is firmer tfor lighter weights. Wethers: Light, 4Jd to 5Jd; heavy. 3|d to 4|d. Ewes: 3Jd to 41d. Lambs: 2’s, 7|d to 7ld; B’s, 7d to 71d; 4’s, 6£d to 6£d; seconds, 7d to 7|d per lb.
