COMING-OF-AGE PARTY.

Enjoyable Gathering of Friends at Dance. At the invitation of Mr and Mrs T. J. Milton, relatives and friends gathered recently at the Jellicoe Hall to celebrate the coming of age of their younger daughter Winifred. Mrs Milton received the guests wearing a frock of black georgette and lace, caught at the waist with a diamante buckle. The guest of honour chose for her frock delphinium blue georgette with ankle length skirt falling from a V-shaped hipline outlined with diamante trimming. The bridge coat to match was patterned on front and sleeves with diamante. Mr and Mrs Leo Bowden gave an exhibition of the modern waltz. Vocal items were given by Mrs Alex. Thompson and recitations by Messrs R. Woodward and G. Jackson. Over seventy couples danced to the music of Miss D. Moore’s orchestra. Among those present were: Mr and Mrs T. J. Milton, Mr and Mrs R.
