ARTHUR’S PASS WEATHER.

Conditions Promising for Ski Club Sports. This morning the Railway Department received a report from Mr G. G. Lockwood, secretary of the Christchurch Ski Club, who is at Arthur’s Pass, practising for the winter sports next Sunday. Mr Lockwood states that there was heavy rain at the Pass yesterday, and half an inch of snow fell last night. To-day the weather is fine and clear, and conditions look favourable for the sports on Sunday.
