DAMAGE TO MONOPLANE.

Forced Landing Made When Engine Stalled. Per Press Association. HAMILTON, August 12. A three-seater monoplane, owned and piloted by Mr S. Blaekmore, of Hamilton, made a forced landing near the Te Rapa aerodrome this evening. The pilot and a passenger, Mr W. M'Kenzie. of Te Awamutu, were returning from a flight over Hamilton, when the engine stalled, and they could not reach the aerodrome. A high wind was blowing, and they landed on a rough slope, the ’plane being stopped by a fence 20ft from a house. The undercarriage was broken, but the occupants were unhurt.
