Avon Club Ends Jubilee e Celebrations. A POPULAR FUNCTION. \ I The jubilee celebrations of the Avon ( Rowing Club were brought to a plea- ' sant conclusion last night, when a * dance was held in the Winter Garden, j Rowing is a popular sport in Christ- f church, and the oarsmen and their r friends attended in strong force. E. < Nightingale, L. J. Webb and A. K. Woodham (honorary secretary). Dur- ’ ing the evening, an exhibition of modern dancing was given by Mr and ( Mrs Leo Bowden.
