WESTERN WORLD LIES IN DANGEROUS POSITION United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. RIO DE JANEIRO, August 8. Eighty-seven passengers of the southbound Munson liner, Western World, arrived at Rio de Janeiro on Saturday night, on board the vessel General Osorio, while the Western World aw’aited assistance on the rocks where she had grounded before dawn, off Ponta Dobio, north of Santos. The crew of 166 are said to be in no danger. The General Osorio took the passengers off during the afternoon. The officers of the General Osorio said that the Western World was in a dangerous position should a wind come up. It is believed that she will be difficult to refloat in any case.
