RABBIT BREEDERS HOLD SECOND SHOW
AWARDS ARE MADE IN HIGH QUALITY EXHIBITS. In conjunction with the Winter Show, the Canterbury Rabbit Breeders’ Asso- j ciation is holding its second annual show in the King Edward Barracks this year. The entries are considered very good, considering the slump. They are numerically equal to last year’s, and the quality is of a high standard. In the opinion of the judge. Miss A. A. Myers, the angoras were the best she had seen for wool. An exceptional buck was entered by Mr A. C. Smart, and a good angora doe came from the Selwyn Angora and Chinchilla Farm. The chinchillas were all of good quality, and a buck exhibited by Mr A. Lawrence was the best in the show. Three ChinRex rabbits, bred in the North Island, were also exhibited. In connection with the show, there were exhibited specimens of articles manufactured from rabbits’ wool and hide. The following were the awards:— Special Prizes.
