The screen’s two greatest singers have been cast together for the talkie adaptation of the successful musical comedy, “ The New Moon,” which is being screened at the Regent Theatre. There" is a fine supporting programme. “ DOCTORS’ WIVES.” A remarkable production with a big reputation will be presented at the Regent Theatre on Saturday next- Jt. is entitled “Doctors’ Wives,” and it demonstrates that the wife of a fashionable physician is not always a happy one, as, through his being obliged to respond to professional calls of the day and night, the wife is often debarred from the little attentions which arc dear to the heart of the average married woman.
